The Oster 76 Size 000 is a detachable barber clipper blade that leaves a nominal 1/50 inch / 0.5 mm of hair. This very short cutting length is useful for close fades, clipper-over-comb work and shaping the tops of flattops. It provides a defined cutting length for a barber's blade collection while retaining the detachable format used by the Classic 76 system.

The high-carbon steel blade is manufactured in the United States. Oster hardens the steel to Rockwell C 62–66 and then applies a cryogenic treatment as a further hardening step. Sharpening and finishing take place on the cutting surfaces before the blade is ready for use.

Compatible Oster models include the Classic 76, Octane, Model One, Model 10 and Outlaw. Use the clipper's instructions when attaching or removing the blade. Oster's care guidance calls for clearing trapped hair and applying blade lubricant after every use, keeping routine maintenance part of each finished haircut.
