Hemp's Clippers & Supply (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit clipperrepair.com, use the ClipperRepair mobile app, create an account, or place an order; how we use it; and your rights, including your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

a) Data you give us directly

When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, password, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and message contents. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. We do not store payment card details; payment processing is handled by our payment processor.

b) Equipment, maintenance, and photos

The website and mobile app let signed-in customers save equipment records, including category, brand, model, model number, nickname, notes, and linked catalog information. You may also save maintenance types, dates, notes, and photos you take or select. Equipment photos are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and delivered through our image service.

The mobile app requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose to take or select an equipment photo. It does not request precise location or contacts access.

c) Shopping cart and session data

We store your cart contents and login status in a session cookie that expires when you close your browser. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function and does not require your consent.

In the mobile app, an authentication token is stored using your device's secure storage so you can remain signed in. The app removes that token when you sign out or when the session is no longer valid. Your password is not stored on the device by the app.

d) Analytics data

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website, for example, which pages are viewed and which products are popular. GA4 sets the following cookies on your device:

• _ga: distinguishes users; expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID>: stores session state; expires after 2 years.

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (USA). Google operates under EU Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers to the USA. You can review Google's privacy policy here. The website respects your consent choice before analytics cookies are set.

The mobile app uses Firebase Analytics, a Google service, to measure app usage and reliability. This may include a ClipperRepair customer ID, app-instance and device identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, general geographic information, screens viewed, and actions such as adding equipment or maintenance. We do not send your name, email address, equipment details, maintenance notes, or photos as analytics event properties.

We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels, and we do not use website or app analytics to show personalized advertising.

e) App diagnostics

The mobile app uses Sentry to receive crash reports and technical error diagnostics. Reports may include a ClipperRepair customer ID, app and device information, error stack traces, the operation that failed, and recent in-app navigation or product events. Sentry is configured not to collect default personally identifiable information. We use this information only to diagnose problems, protect the service, and improve app reliability. f) Google Translate (if activated)

The Translate button in our footer loads Google Translate, a third-party service. If you activate it, Google may set cookies to remember your language preference. We do not activate this service automatically; it only loads when you click “Translate this page”.

3. How We Use and Share Data

We use personal data to:

• create and secure accounts, authenticate customers, and provide customer support;
• provide My Equipment, maintenance history, photo storage, and compatibility features;
• process, fulfil, deliver, and support orders;
• send transactional and security messages;
• measure usage, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve our services; and
• meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate ClipperRepair, including AWS for hosting, storage, databases, and email; Google for analytics; Sentry for diagnostics; and payment and delivery providers when needed to complete an order. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our customers, business, or legal rights.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract performance — creating your account, providing app and website features, processing your order, and delivering goods to you.
• Legitimate interests — operating secure sessions, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, supporting customers, and improving our services.
• Consent — Google Analytics website cookies, set only after you click “Accept All” in our cookie banner.
• Legal obligation — retaining required tax and business records.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

• Account, equipment, maintenance, and equipment-photo data is kept while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, we delete your equipment, maintenance, and uploaded equipment photos and remove profile details such as your name, phone number, saved addresses, password hash, and linked sign-in identifiers.
• Order records and limited deletion or audit records may be retained as required for fulfilment, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, and other legal obligations, typically for up to 7 years where applicable.
• Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
• Mobile secure-storage tokens are removed when you sign out or the session is invalidated.
• Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics event data is generally retained for 14 months.
• Diagnostic data is retained only as long as reasonably needed to investigate and resolve issues.

You can initiate account deletion from your account settings or at clipperrepair.com/account/delete. Account deletion is permanent and does not cancel or erase records we must retain by law.

6. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction: ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
• Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw analytics consent at any time (see below). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are in the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your analytics cookie preference at any time by clicking the button below. This will clear your saved choice and show the consent banner again on the next page load.

8. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are visiting from the EU or UK, your data may be transferred to and processed in the USA by us and our service providers using appropriate safeguards, which may include the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

9. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. These include encrypted network connections, restricted service access, one-way password hashing, and secure device storage for mobile session tokens. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and mobile app are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
