The Aesculap GT176 is an individual 22 mm stainless steel clip-on comb for groomers working with compatible Favorita blades. It extends the length options available from the cutting blade and provides one of the longer attachment heights in the five-comb Favorita range.

The attachment fits Favorita blade sets GH700, GT736, GT746 and GT710. Its flexible stainless steel construction guides the coat toward the blade, while the clip-on arrangement allows the comb to be exchanged when the grooming plan calls for a different length. The manufacturer identifies fine to medium coats among the applications for these combs.

The 22 mm measurement describes the comb height. To calculate the nominal combined cutting length, Aesculap instructs users to add the underlying blade's cutting length. For example, GT176 over a 1.8 mm GT710 blade gives a nominal total of 23.8 mm. Check both components when selecting the combination for a particular finish.
