The Aesculap GT177 is a single 25 mm Favorita clip-on comb for controlling coat length with a compatible grooming blade. It is the tallest attachment in the manufacturer's five-comb GT170 range, giving groomers an individual option when this longer comb height is required.

Flexible stainless steel teeth guide the coat into the cutting area. The comb clips onto Favorita blade sets GH700, GT736, GT746 and GT710, and can be exchanged as the required grooming length changes. These Favorita attachments are described by the manufacturer for work on fine to medium coats.

Choose the blade and comb as a combination: Aesculap's length calculation adds the cutting length of the blade to the comb's stated height. With the 1.8 mm GT710 blade, the 25 mm GT177 attachment gives a nominal combined length of 26.8 mm. The attachment marking therefore does not represent the complete length calculation on its own.

This product is the individual GT177 comb. It can be selected when replacing the longest comb in the GT170 set or expanding an existing Favorita grooming kit. Before fitting it, match the blade reference to the four compatible blade sets listed below.
