The Aesculap GTA200 is an 18 cm straight coat shear for right-handed groomers. It is intended for general coat cutting, with Aesculap also highlighting fine hair such as that of Yorkshire terriers, Maltese and poodles among its applications.

The shear is made from Japanese stainless steel and has a straight blade form. Short handle sections are designed to make cutting movement easier to manage, while the shaped finger rings and additional finger grooves support the user's grip. This combination provides a conventional straight cutting line with attention to hand placement during grooming.

A special adjustment screw allows the cutting action to be adapted to the user's preference. The screw is a functional setup feature of the shear, alongside its handle and blade design.

GTA200 is the shortest of the three straight shears in this range, with an overall length of 18 cm. Check that measurement and the model number when selecting the size for your grooming kit.
