The Aesculap GTA202 is a 20 cm straight coat shear for right-handed grooming. It is the longest of the three straight shears in this range and is intended for coat-cutting work across the coat types described by Aesculap, including fine hair on Yorkshire terriers, Maltese and poodles.

Made from Japanese stainless steel, the shear combines a straight cutting profile with short handle sections. The handle design is intended to make cutting movements easier to manage. Shaped finger rings and added finger grooves help establish a comfortable grip during scissoring.

The cutting action can be adjusted through the dedicated screw. Aesculap also identifies TA014848 as the matching shear-adjusting tool, allowing that accessory to be recognized separately when needed.
