Andis 9-Piece Small Comb Set (12860)
The Andis 12860 nine-piece small comb set adds closely spaced length choices to a compatible detachable-blade clipper. Its nine guides cover 1/16 inch through 9/16 inch in 1/16-inch steps, giving groomers a useful range for blending, detail work and short finishing.
Plastic comb teeth guide the coat toward the blade, and a metal clip holds each attachment in place. Andis specifies a hook-and-push attachment method and identifies the combs for use with its #30, #15, #10 and #9 blades. The manufacturer also describes this set for working through curls, long coats and double coats.
Choose the guide by its marked length and match it to the appropriate blade size before use. The nine individual lengths let you change the amount of coat retained while continuing to use the same compatible cutting system.
