The Andis 17285 ProFoil Lithium Titanium Foil Assembly replaces the outer shaving head on compatible ProFoil Lithium TS-1 and ProFoil Lithium Plus TS-2 shavers. Designed for the close finishing work these shavers perform, it supplies the titanium foil assembly on its own. Inner cutters are a separate replacement component, so check their condition when deciding which parts your shaver needs.

The assembly fits over the cutters and locks into position on the shaver. On the TS-1, the side release button frees the old housing; handle the replacement by its sides and lower it into place carefully to protect the thin foils.

Routine care helps keep hair from collecting beneath the head. For the TS-1, Andis specifies dry cleaning: gently empty the foil housing and brush hair from the cutters without rinsing the components. Check for damaged foils before shaving. When cutters also need replacement, Andis instructs users to renew the foil assembly at the same time.
