The Double K 504 Orthopedic Handpiece is a cable-driven accessory for the 401 Power Clipper system, intended for veterinary orthopedic drilling and pin insertion. It replaces the clipping handpiece at the quick-detach cable connection.

The keyed chuck accepts compatible drill bits and pins up to 5/32 inch, and a chuck key is included. Double K describes the handpiece as autoclavable and distinguishes it from the drive cable, which requires appropriate draping for the intended sterile procedure. Processing and use should follow the manufacturer’s applicable instructions.

Without an attachment, the handpiece is 5-3/16 inches long and 1 inch in diameter and weighs 5.85 ounces. The manufacturer also lists separate grinding, cast-cutting and polishing attachments. Those optional working tools are not assumed to be included with this handpiece.
