The Heiniger 708-550 Xplorer charger is the replacement charging station for an Xplorer lithium-ion clipper battery. It provides the base into which the removable battery is placed for recharging, making it useful when replacing a damaged or missing station in an existing Xplorer setup.

This part is supplied without the power supply or plug. Use the matching Xplorer power supply, identified separately by Heiniger as the 708-590 regional series, to connect the station to an outlet. The battery sits in the charging bay from above; it does not need to remain fitted to the clipper while charging.

LED indicators show the charging progress. A green lower indicator confirms that the station has power, and the indicators turn green when charging is complete. Set the base on a clean, dry, level surface. Disconnect it before cleaning, remove accumulated hair from the charging bay, and wipe dirty contacts with a dry cloth as directed in the Xplorer manual.
