The Premier 828004 clipper head lets a compatible Premier 4000 motor perform livestock clipping work. It can replace a worn clipping head or convert a Premier 4000s shearing machine to the clipping configuration. The head drives Premier and Lister large clipper blades, so the fitted blade set determines the cutting length and intended finish.

Premier lists uses including slick shearing show sheep, preparing cattle, and clipping goats, horses, pigs, llamas, and alpacas. The head incorporates internal roller bearings, riveted stainless-steel inserts, a ribbed tension knob, a shortened tension bolt, and a round steel upper-blade drive.

The conversion uses two mounting screws and a screwdriver. Premier lists the mounting hardware separately. This head does not fit the Premier 1000. Oil and tension the fitted blades according to Premier's instructions to control heat and wear.
