The Aesculap Favorita GT736 is a complete 1 mm blade set for animal clipping with the Favorita system. Its 40 mm cutting width provides the working surface for a short, defined finish. The manufacturer's manual identifies this blade among the options for Favorita II and Favorita Speed clippers.

The GT736 is also approved for Aesculap's stainless-steel Favorita clip-on combs. With the appropriate comb fitted, users can select a longer finished length without changing the base blade. Those combs are separate accessories; the blade itself retains its nominal 1 mm cutting length.

German-made carbon-steel plates form the cutting assembly. Precision machining and surface finishing support consistent cutting and movement through the coat, while the adjustable pressure system lets the operator set plate contact as described in the clipper instructions. The plates are suitable for professional resharpening when the edges wear.

Regular care includes removing hair from between the teeth and applying GT604 lubricant to the cutting plates. Use an authorized service provider for sharpening and repairs to maintain the blade's intended cutting geometry.
