The Aesculap Favorita GT746 blade set is a short-cutting animal grooming attachment with a nominal length of 1.5 mm. The 40 mm-wide cutting assembly is part of Aesculap's Favorita system and is listed for Favorita II and Favorita Speed clippers. It provides a specific cutting length for users building a selection of interchangeable Favorita blades.

The GT746 also accepts Aesculap's compatible stainless-steel clip-on combs, available separately. This makes it useful as a base blade when a comb is required to retain additional coat length. Check the selected comb and blade combination when planning the finished cut.

Aesculap manufactures the carbon-steel plates in Germany. Their machined tooth geometry and finished surfaces support an even cutting pattern, and the cutting edges can be professionally resharpened. Keep the teeth clear of hair and lightly lubricate the plates with Aesculap GT604 during routine maintenance. Sharpening and repairs should be performed by an authorized service provider.
