The Aesculap Favorita GT758 is a 5 mm blade set for animal clipping with the Favorita system. It provides a defined retained coat length across a 40 mm cutting width. The complete blade assembly is listed in Aesculap's manual for use with Favorita II and Favorita Speed clippers.

The cutting plates are made from carbon steel and manufactured in Germany. Precision machining forms their working surfaces and tooth geometry, while the surface finish helps the blade move through the coat. This combination supports consistent cutting and allows the plates to be resharpened as part of ongoing maintenance.

Favorita blades also give the operator control over plate pressure. Set the contact between the upper and lower blades according to the clipper instructions; tightening is an adjustment to cutting contact, not a way to alter the GT758's nominal 5 mm length.

The model number is the reference to use when ordering a replacement. Keep the assembly clean, oil before, during and after clipping, and arrange sharpening through an authorized service provider when the cutting edges need attention.
