The Aesculap GT606D is an adjustable replacement blade set for Akkurata and Vega animal clippers, with a diamond-like carbon surface coating for frequent grooming work. Aesculap also lists this exact replacement for the Akkurata II GT407 and Vega II GT412. Its 40 mm cutting head provides three selectable lengths: 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 mm.

The length adjustment sits directly on the blade set, so changes between these settings do not require a different cutting head. This is useful when working across smaller areas that need different close trimming lengths. The compatible Akkurata and Vega machines are designed for detail work around areas such as the neck, belly, head and face.
