Heiniger Ovina Shearing Comb (714-020)

The Heiniger Ovina Standard is an all-purpose sheep shearing comb for routine fleece removal. It offers a general shearing option when selecting a comb by its intended role, width and bevel. The 714-020 item is the right-hand model in Heiniger's range.

This version has a full-thickness profile, a width of 77 mm and a medium bevel. Those details identify the standard Ovina and are useful when matching a replacement to a familiar shearing setup. The product is a comb component, used as part of the handpiece's cutting assembly. Follow the equipment instructions when fitting it and setting the cutter position and tension.

Once shearing is finished, clean the comb and dry it completely before storage. Heiniger recommends an oiled protective covering and a dry storage location for shearing blades.
