Regular blade care is part of using this trimmer. Andis instructs GTO users to remove trapped hair with a small brush and oil the blades before, during, and after use, wiping away excess oil. Unplug the tool before removing or replacing its blade assembly. The trimmer should be kept out of water, and damaged cutting teeth require blade replacement.
