Heiniger Progress (707-503)

The Heiniger Progress is a corded horse clipper with a slim grip and permanent-magnet motor. It is intended for equine clipping where a relatively compact handpiece and straightforward connected power are useful.

The US version, item 707-503, operates on 120 volts. Its motor is rated at 80 watts and drives the cutting system at 2,200 double strokes per minute. Heiniger lists a length of 280 mm and a tool weight of 930 grams. An electronic overload switch is built into the machine.

The listed package includes a carry case, blades, screwdriver, oil and cleaning brush. These provide the main setup and care items for the clipper. Blade selection, alignment and maintenance should follow the Progress instructions and the requirements of the particular clipping task.
