The Heiniger Xcell 2-Speed is a cordless shearing machine for sheep and camelids. Its two settings deliver 2,500 and 2,800 double strokes per minute, allowing the shearer to select a working pace through the same handpiece.

The direct-drive system is powered by a 14.4-volt, 5,000 mAh lithium-ion battery. Heiniger lists up to sixty minutes of runtime and a charging time of up to sixty minutes. A second compatible battery can be used to support alternating between charged packs, without assuming a second pack is included in every kit.

A soft-touch coating provides the gripping surface. The manufacturer lists a length of 345 mm and weight of 1,334 grams. This cordless configuration is intended for shearing work where the user wants to move without a mains cable attached to the operating handpiece.
