Aesculap Favorita Blade Set GT730, 0.5 mm (GT730)

The Aesculap Favorita GT730 blade set provides a 0.5 mm cutting length for close animal clipping. It has a 40 mm cutting width and fits the Favorita blade system, including Favorita II and Favorita Speed clippers. As a complete shearing head, it supplies the paired cutting plates needed for this specific length.

Aesculap makes its Favorita blades in Germany using carbon steel. Precision machining establishes the tooth profile and cutting surfaces, while the final surface finish helps the blade move through the coat. The result is a serviceable cutting assembly whose edges can be resharpened when their condition requires it.

The Favorita design also permits plate-pressure adjustment. This gives the operator control over the contact between the upper and lower plates as part of normal setup. Adjustment should follow the clipper manual; the GT730 number remains the reference for choosing this half-millimeter blade from the wider range.

For maintenance, clear the cutting teeth with a soft brush and lightly oil the plates using Aesculap GT604. Professional sharpening through an authorized service provider helps preserve the blade's intended geometry.
