Aesculap Favorita Blade Set GT772, 0.7 mm (GT772)

The Aesculap Favorita GT772 is a narrow animal clipper blade set with a nominal cutting length of 0.7 mm. Its 20 mm cutting width gives Favorita users a smaller working surface than the 40 mm blades in the same range. That width is the key specification when selecting a blade for work where a narrower cutting head is preferred.

The manufacturer lists the complete GT772 assembly for Favorita II and Favorita Speed machines. Its carbon-steel plates are made in Germany, with precision machining used to form the teeth and cutting surfaces. A finished surface supports movement through the coat, and the cutting edges can be professionally resharpened as they wear.

Like other Favorita blade sets, the GT772 permits adjustment of plate pressure. Establish the contact between the upper and lower plates according to the clipper instructions as part of normal setup.

Oil the blade before, during and after work and store it dry. Have sharpening and repair work performed by an authorized service provider to maintain the intended cutting geometry of this narrow Favorita head.
