Aesculap Favorita DLC Blade Set GH703D, 0.1 mm (GH703D)

For close coat removal during veterinary preparation, the Aesculap GH703D provides a 0.1 mm cutting length across a 40 mm cutting width. This Favorita-system replacement head is identified in Aesculap's veterinary blade guide for surgical-site preparation and biopsy areas, with mixed-breed dogs, cats, and rabbits listed as applications. Select the exact GH703D reference when that cutting height is required.

Its DLC finish is applied to the carbon-steel blade set. The coating helps the surfaces move with less friction and resist wear, while its dirt-repellent character makes accumulated material easier to remove during care. The blade retains the Favorita system's adjustable pressure arrangement, so the relationship between the moving and fixed cutting plates can be set as directed in the machine instructions.

Aesculap manufactures Favorita cutting heads in Germany. The compatible system is used by Favorita II, Favorita SPEED, and Favorita CLi machines, giving owners of those clippers a dedicated very-close-cutting option.

Maintain the head as a reusable cutting tool: clear hair from the tooth spaces, dry it thoroughly after disinfection, and lubricate after cleaning. Before returning it to work, check for damaged or dull cutting edges and have sharpening handled by an authorized service provider.
