Andis UltraEdge Detachable Blade, Size 1A (64205)
The Andis Size 1A UltraEdge is a detachable clipper blade that leaves a nominal 3.2 mm, or 1/8 inch. It is intended for haircutting and blending where the operator wants a defined cutting length, with the 1A size and metric length marked directly on the blade for identification.
High-carbon steel forms the cutting head, while a chrome finish helps resist rust. The blade's precision-ground teeth support hair feeding during cutting. Its snap-on mounting lets a barber exchange the blade for another size on the same compatible clipper, then remove it for cleaning when the haircut is complete.
Part 64205 fits Andis AG, AGC, BG, DBLC, FHC, MBG and SMC model families. Confirm the clipper's model before selecting a replacement. For ongoing care, brush out hair, clean the cutting surfaces and apply clipper oil between cuts as directed by Andis.
