The Premier Phantom R is a 20-tooth shearing comb with rounded tooth tips for shaping show animals and working with coarse wool and other livestock fibre. Premier lists blocking uses on sheep and cattle, plus shearing applications on fibre goats, llamas and alpacas.

The comb is 77 mm wide and 3.4 mm thick. It fits 3-inch shearing heads, including the Premier 4000s. Use an appropriate cutter and follow the machine instructions for alignment and tension.

Clean and oil the comb after work, protect the teeth from impact and arrange suitable resharpening when the cutting edges become worn.
