The Premier Spitfire is a four-point shearing cutter for removing wool, hair and fibre from livestock. It is 4 mm thick and works with compatible 13-, 17-, 20-, 22- and 23-tooth combs.

The cutter fits the Premier 4000s and other suitable 3-inch shearing heads. It operates above the comb, which determines the retained fibre length and the working characteristics of the cutting pair.

Use the machine instructions to position and tension the assembly correctly. Clean and oil the cutter after use, protect it from corrosion and have it resharpened using a suitable process when necessary.
