The Heiniger Icon SFX is a shearing handpiece with a pin coupling, identified by item 721-262. It is designed for use as the hand-held cutting component of a compatible shearing system, with changes to the back joint, tension sleeve and gearing focused on handling and balance.

The SFX uses a reshaped tension sleeve, a lighter back joint and a smaller back-joint cover. Updated cog material and tooth geometry are intended to support smoother operation. These changes affect how the handpiece sits and moves in the shearer’s hand.

Heiniger lists dimensions of 65 mm wide, 95 mm high and 320 mm long, with a weight of 1,130 grams without blades. Match the pin-coupling version to the drive system when ordering; the worm-coupling SFX has a different item number.
