The Aesculap GT502 is a replacement bottom blade for cattle and horse clipping with the Econom cutting system. Its 31 teeth and 3 mm cutting height provide the standard configuration used with the GT501 upper cutter on the Econom II GT474. It is also listed with the GT505 upper cutter for a smooth standard cut, giving users two manufacturer-documented pairings for this lower blade.

The GT502 fits the Aesculap GT367 cutting head. As a lower cutting plate, it works with a separate moving upper cutter, so both part numbers matter when selecting the cutting combination.

Aesculap's Econom blades use carbon steel that can be resharpened. Follow the machine instructions for fitting and tensioning the plates, and keep them oiled. Excess blade pressure increases heat and wear rather than correcting a worn cutting edge.
