The Aesculap Econom CL GT804 is a cordless shearing machine for cattle and horses. It is supplied in blue with one battery and a GT502 lower comb paired with a GT501 upper cutter. The blade set uses 31 comb teeth and 15 cutter teeth and leaves a nominal 3 mm of hair.

An EC motor and spur-gear drive operate at approximately 2,750 strokes per minute. The cordless format lets the operator position the handpiece around the animal without a power lead attached to the machine. A slim housing and balanced weight distribution support handling, while airflow through the body helps manage heat during shearing.

The current GT804 specification uses a 21.6 V lithium-ion battery rated at 3,350 mAh. Aesculap lists a runtime of 90 minutes and an 80-minute recharge. Battery management supplies power according to demand and enters standby after an hour of inactivity. This version includes one GT831 battery, allowing the battery quantity to be matched clearly to the intended work schedule.

The shearing blades are made from wear-resistant carbon steel and can be reground as their cutting edges need servicing. The air filter can be changed without tools. Together, access to the filter and serviceable blades support regular maintenance of a machine used for repeated animal clipping.

The set contains the clipper, one battery, GT833 charging station, comb and cutter, GT604 oil, instructions and a plastic case. The manufacturer's current listing identifies GT833 as the EU charging station. Follow the manual for cutter-head lubrication and blade-pressure adjustment, and clean the machine and blades before storage. The working weight is 1,250 g including the battery and blade set.
