The Aesculap GT511 is a 31-tooth bottom blade for close clipping with the Econom system. Its 1 mm cutting height leaves less coat than the standard 3 mm GT502, making the stated cutting length an important distinction when ordering a replacement. Aesculap lists the GT511 with the GT501 upper cutter for close cattle and horse clipping, and with the GT505 for horse and veterinary clipping.

This lower plate fits the GT367 cutting head and forms one half of the working blade combination. Select the upper cutter to match the intended task and install both components according to the clipper manual.

For maintenance, keep the cutting plates lubricated and use the prescribed pressure setting. After cleaning, oil the blades and store them somewhere dry. Check the GT511 number when replacing a blade: its tooth count matches GT502, but its cutting height differs.
