The Aesculap GT505 is a 23-tooth upper cutter for the Econom large-animal clipping system. It fits the GT367 head and works with a choice of documented lower combs, giving owners a replacement top blade for several clipping configurations.

With the GT502 lower comb, the manufacturer lists horse clipping as an application. The GT510 pairing is listed for dogs and goats. Select the lower plate for the desired cutting length and task: the upper cutter alone does not establish one fixed finish.

Aesculap makes the cutter from carbon steel, using vacuum hardening and a resistant surface coating. The cutting surfaces can be reground, so sharpening is part of its service life. Match GT505 to the required comb before fitting it, and follow the machine manual for blade alignment, lubrication and pressure adjustment.
