The Lister Covercote is an animal clipper blade set for trims that retain a longer covering of hair. Its 5 mm cutting length makes it useful on areas such as the legs, where the grooming plan calls for more coat to remain. Lister identifies horses, alpacas, cattle and pigs as suitable applications.

The blade is 75 mm wide and has 24 teeth. One blade set is supplied, with manufacturer-confirmed compatibility for Lister Eclipse, Star, Liberty, Legend and Fusion clippers. This gives owners of those machines a specific longer-cutting option to select alongside their shorter grooming blades.

For routine care, brush away loose hair before applying Lister R15 oil. Lister recommends oiling every five to ten minutes during clipping. After use, clean the blades, oil them for storage and keep them in a clean, dry place. Follow the clipper's fitting and tensioning instructions when installing the set.
