The Oster 76 Size 2 is a detachable clipper blade for barbers and stylists who want to leave a nominal 1/4 inch / 6.3 mm of hair. This longer cutting length offers a clear step in a detachable blade set when a haircut calls for more hair to remain. The size 2 cutting assembly can be changed as part of the clipper's normal detachable-blade workflow.

The blade is manufactured in the United States from high-carbon steel. Oster hardens the steel to Rockwell C 62–66, adds a cryogenic treatment, and sharpens and finishes the cutting surfaces. These manufacturing steps produce the hardened steel cutting edges used in Oster's professional blade range.

It is compatible with Oster Classic 76, Octane, Model One, Model 10 and Outlaw clippers. Keep the blade's size marking with its stated cutting length when choosing a replacement. For routine care, Oster specifies removing hair and applying blade lubricant after each use.
