The MetroVac Air Force Commander AFTD-3V is a variable-speed pet dryer with an all-steel body. Adjustable airflow lets the groomer vary output for the coat and the stage of drying, while dual-position legs allow vertical or horizontal placement on a suitable floor or table.

The specified 120 V model has a 4.0 peak HP motor, a 6-foot flexible hose and an 8 lb unit weight. Its accessories include a massager, air flare and blower nozzle.

This combination of adjustable airflow and flexible placement suits a grooming station that serves different coat types. The hose and nozzle options help direct the air during drying and finishing, while the easy-change filter supports routine maintenance.
