Oster Detachable Blade Size 1 (76918-086)

The Oster 76 Size 1 is a detachable blade for barbers and stylists working at a nominal cutting length of 3/32 inch / 2.4 mm. Its applications include clipper-over-comb cutting, medium fades and removing bulk. That combination makes it a useful working size when the haircut calls for more retained length than the very close blades in a detachable set.

Oster uses high-carbon steel and manufactures the blade in the United States. The steel is hardened to Rockwell C 62–66 before undergoing cryogenic treatment, and the cutting surfaces are subsequently sharpened and finished.
