The Premier XtraCover Clipping Blade Set leaves approximately a quarter inch of coat for livestock fitting work where more cover is wanted. Its 22-tooth upper blade works with a 24-tooth lower blade.

The set fits the Premier 4000c clipper and is used for show pigs and goats, as well as higher-cover finishes on cattle and sheep. Select XtraCover when this retained length suits the intended finish.

The blades can be resharpened. Keep the cutting surfaces clean and lubricated, and use the matching XtraCover upper blade when replacing that component separately.
