Note: this is a generic replacement blade, not a Heiniger-made part. It is a flat 31-tooth bottom (lower) blade for horse and cattle clippers that use Heiniger's 31 bottom blade (Heiniger part 703-310), and it costs less than the original.
The bottom blade stays fixed while the top blade moves across it. Heiniger pairs its 31 bottom blade with top blade 15 (703-200) or top blade 23 (703-220), so use it with one of those top blades.
Fit and align the blades according to your clipper's instructions, set the blade pressure correctly, brush out trapped hair, and keep the blades oiled while clipping. Have the blades sharpened professionally when they start to pull. This listing is for one bottom blade.
