The Aesculap Durati Horse GT444-BS is a cordless horse clipper supplied with a wide #10W blade for a 2.4 mm cutting length. It is designed for full or partial horse clipping, with a compact handpiece that also helps the operator reach smaller areas and follow contours. The blue-and-black version includes one rechargeable battery.

A brushless EC motor drives the cutting head at approximately 3,500 strokes per minute. The current design uses revised power transmission between the motor and blade, with a rocker-arm and eccentric drive mechanism. Its shaped grip accommodates smaller hands, and the manufacturer lists a working weight of 380 g including the battery and blade. The specified sound pressure level is 63 dB.

A 2,850 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to four hours of clipping, and a full charge takes approximately four hours. The XT433 charging station has separate positions for the clipper and a battery. Charging takes place sequentially, with the clipper position receiving priority; a second battery can be added separately. LED indicators show the charging state. The charger accepts 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz, and the supplied power pack includes EU, UK, US and Australian plug adapters.

The SnapOn blade system allows tool-free changes when another compatible cutting head is needed. Along with the clipper, battery and wide blade, the set includes the charging station, Aesculap GT604 oil, instructions and a plastic carrying case. These items provide a practical way to keep the clipping equipment together between jobs.

Regular blade care is part of the working routine. Remove trapped hair from the cutting plates and tooth gaps with a soft brush or cloth, then lubricate the blade lightly with the specified oil. Follow the supplied instructions for blade changes, cleaning and battery handling.
