Aesculap SnapOn Blade Set GT398, Size 15 Wide (1 mm) (GT398)

The Aesculap GT398 is a size 15 wide SnapOn blade set with a 1 mm cutting length and a 60 mm cutting width. It is a replacement grooming head for users who need this specific close-cutting length in a wide detachable-blade format.

The exact GT398 specification matters when choosing a replacement: Aesculap's standard-width size 15 blade has a different listed cutting length. Select by the complete item number and millimeter measurement as well as the blade size. The SnapOn system permits tool-free head changes on compatible clippers.

Aesculap manufactures this carbon-steel blade range in Suhl, Germany. Precision machining, grinding and surface finishing shape the cutting teeth and help the assembly move through the coat. The blades can be professionally resharpened when the cutting edges require attention.

GT398 accepts the manufacturer's GTA144, GTA145 and GTA146 wide attachment combs, providing separate 13, 16 and 19 mm comb options. Use the exact head and comb references when matching accessories.

Keep hair from building up between the blades and apply clipper oil before and during grooming. Dry, oiled storage helps protect the steel from corrosion. Aesculap advises against unscrewing SnapOn heads for routine cleaning; use its blade-care guidance and obtain service when needed.
