Aesculap SnapOn DLC Blade Set GT330D, Size 10 (1.5 mm) (GT330D)

The Aesculap GT330D gives professional animal groomers a #10 SnapOn blade set with a 1.5 mm cutting length. Its 40 mm cutting width provides the standard-width option in this DLC-coated range. It is a detachable replacement head for compatible SnapOn clippers, including the Aesculap FAV5, allowing the cutting length to be changed by exchanging the complete blade set.

DLC stands for diamond-like carbon, the surface coating applied to this carbon-steel cutting set. It reduces sliding friction and helps protect against wear, supporting smooth travel through the coat and longer edge retention. The blade is manufactured in Germany, with precisely ground cutting surfaces and tooth geometry designed to leave a consistent clipping pattern.

For an owner already using a #10 head, the GT330D retains the manufacturer's specified 1.5 mm length while adding the DLC finish. Select it by both the blade number and the SnapOn fitting to match the intended machine and cut.

Cleaning access is straightforward with the head removed. Use a soft brush or cloth to clear both cutting plates and the gaps between teeth, then lightly lubricate with GT604 blade oil. On the FAV5, seat the head using the procedure in the machine's instructions and confirm that it clicks securely into place before clipping.
