The Andis CeramicEdge size 10 is a detachable animal clipper blade for routine grooming and short body trims. It leaves approximately 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) of hair. Andis also identifies face, foot, sanitary and cleanup work among its applications, making this size an option when several parts of a groom require the same short finish.

The ceramic cutter is designed to reduce heat buildup compared with a steel cutter and help maintain sharpness through repeated use. Its removable blade assembly can be exchanged as the cutting task changes or taken off for cleaning. Manufacturer-listed compatibility includes Andis AG, AGC, BG, DBLC, FHC, MBG and SMC models, plus Oster A5 and 76 clippers.

For longer finished lengths, the blade can be used with the Andis 8-Piece Steel Animal Combs identified in the manufacturer's attachment tutorial. Select the appropriate comb for the planned trim rather than relying on the bare blade's cutting length.

Brush away loose hair, lubricate the blade regularly and wipe off excess oil. Check the teeth during maintenance and replace a blade that has a missing tooth.
