Aesculap SnapOn Blade Set GT320, Size 5/8 (0.8 mm) (GT320)

The Aesculap GT320 SnapOn blade set is a narrow cutting attachment for dog groomers working on paws and other close detail areas. Aesculap identifies it as size 5/8, with a 0.8 mm cutting length and 20 mm cutting width. The manufacturer’s blade-selection guide specifically recommends GT320 for paw clipping on poodles, Bichon Frises, and several terrier breeds. That guidance gives this narrow blade a defined place in a grooming kit alongside blades chosen for body clipping.

Made in Germany, the blade set uses carbon steel and is manufactured with CNC grinding and milling processes. Its tooth geometry is designed to produce an even cutting pattern, while the finished surfaces help the blade pass through the coat with reduced friction. The cutting plates can be resharpened by a suitable service provider when the edges become dull.

The SnapOn fitting supports blade changes without tools and is compatible with the Aesculap FAV5 and other clippers designed for the SnapOn system. Follow the clipper’s fitting procedure and confirm that the blade is seated correctly before grooming.

For routine care, remove hair from both cutting plates with a soft cloth or brush, paying attention to the spaces between the teeth. Aesculap’s FAV5 instructions recommend lightly lubricating the upper and lower plates with GT604 clipper-blade oil.
