Aesculap SnapOn Blade Set GT366, Size 4 (9.5 mm) (GT366)

The Aesculap GT366 is a size 4 SnapOn blade set for animal grooming with a nominal cutting length of 9.5 mm. Its 40 mm cutting width and skip-tooth pattern define this variant. The alternating long and short comb teeth are a useful identifying feature when selecting the head for an existing SnapOn blade collection. Aesculap’s breed guide includes GT366 for medium-length body clipping of poodles and doodles with normal or cleaned coats.

Aesculap manufactures the blade set in Suhl, Germany, using carbon steel and CNC grinding and milling processes. The cutting surfaces are formed for consistent operation, and the surface finish helps the blade pass through fur. The steel is selected for edge durability and can be professionally resharpened as part of the blade's service life.

The SnapOn assembly is designed for changes without tools on a compatible clipper. The manufacturer's FAV5 manual specifically lists GT366 as size 4 with a 9.5 mm cut. Match the item number, cutting length and tooth pattern when replacing an existing blade or preparing a machine for the next grooming task.

Regular care involves removing trapped hair and lightly lubricating the cutting plates. Use the blade-fitting procedure in the clipper's instructions and confirm that the head is securely seated. Keeping the teeth clean and the cutting surfaces maintained is part of routine care for this reusable blade set.
