Laube Lazor CX Detachable Blade, Size 5/8 (50118)

The Laube Lazor CX Size 5/8 is a skip-tooth grooming blade that leaves a nominal 5/8 inch, or 16 mm, of coat. Its alternating tooth lengths distinguish this version from the full-tooth 5/8F. Match both the cutting length and the tooth pattern when selecting a replacement or adding a longer-cutting blade to an existing setup.

Made from high-carbon steel with a hard chrome finish, the blade belongs to Laube's ice-tempered CX range. It attaches to clippers that accept the standard snap-on blade system, allowing compatible blade sizes to be exchanged on the same handpiece. Laube excludes its #305 Speed Feed and trimmers from this blade family.

Keep the cutting surfaces clean and lubricated during regular use. Laube's blade-care guidance explains that lubrication reduces friction and that a suitable cleaning spray removes hair and dust. Switch the clipper off before applying Laube's cooling spray to the teeth, and follow the care product's directions.
