Aesculap Durati Cordless Clipper (GT434-WS)

The Aesculap Durati GT434-WS is a cordless animal clipper for dog grooming and small-animal veterinary work. This white-and-black version comes with one rechargeable battery and a GT330 #10 blade that cuts to 1.5 mm. Its Aesculap SnapOn blade system lets the operator select another compatible cutting head when a different length is required.

A brushless EC motor drives the blade at approximately 3,500 strokes per minute through a rocker-arm and eccentric mechanism. The current Durati design incorporates revised power transmission between the motor and cutting head. An ergonomically shaped grip and a working weight of 380 g, including the battery and blade, help keep the handpiece manageable during full grooming sessions and more detailed coat work. The clipper measures 17.5 × 4.5 × 3.7 cm, and the manufacturer specifies a sound pressure level of 63 dB.

The removable 2,850 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to four hours of operation, with an approximately four-hour charging time. The supplied XT433 station has a position for the complete clipper and a separate position for a battery. It charges the clipper first before charging a battery placed in the second position, and LED indicators show charging progress. A second battery is an optional addition; this GT434-WS kit contains one.

The set also includes Aesculap GT604 oil, a charging station, a power supply with EU, UK, US and Australian plug adapters, and instructions. The charger accepts 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz. For routine maintenance, remove hair from the cutting plates with a soft brush or cloth and lubricate the blade lightly with the specified oil. Follow the instructions for blade changes, battery handling and cleaning to keep the tool ready for the next grooming session.
