The Andis Pulse ZR II Detachable Blade Clipper is a cordless grooming tool for full-body clipping and detailed coat work. Designed for professional pet grooming, it uses a five-speed rotary motor with a range of 2,500 to 4,500 strokes per minute. The adjustable speed gives groomers a choice of cutting pace when moving between coat textures and different parts of the grooming job.

The supplied Size 10 CeramicEdge blade is marked for a 1.5 mm cut. Its ceramic cutter is designed to run cooler and keep its edge longer than a steel cutter. The detachable mounting system also accepts compatible Andis UltraEdge and CeramicEdge blades, so another cutting length can be fitted as the coat and desired finish require. This is a blade-changing system, with the cutting length determined by the blade selected.

A removable lithium-ion battery provides up to three hours of cordless runtime. The stand can charge the battery while it is fitted to the clipper or after it has been removed. A separately purchased spare pack therefore provides another way to organize charging around appointments. The power adapter accepts 100–240 volts at 50–60 hertz.

The kit includes the clipper, Size 10 blade, charging stand, adapter, additional blade drive, blade oil and a hard storage case. The case keeps the main equipment together between grooming sessions or during transport. At 8.13 inches long and 17.6 ounces, this DBLC-2 variant combines cordless operation with a replaceable blade system. For routine care, brush out collected hair, lubricate the blade and monitor blade temperature during longer sessions.
