The Aesculap GT333 is a #9 SnapOn blade set for short animal coat trimming, with a 2 mm cutting length and a 40 mm cutting width. Its detachable fitting works with clippers using the SnapOn blade system, allowing the groomer to change cutting heads without tools as the grooming job moves between different areas.

Aesculap's official blade advisor gives this model several specific uses. It lists GT333 for rear-area trimming on breeds including poodles and Bichon Frise, and for head and ear work on Shih Tzus. The blade is made from carbon steel in Suhl, Germany. Precision machining, finished plate surfaces and the cutting-tooth design support a consistent cut and smooth movement through the coat. The cutting plates can be professionally resharpened as their edges wear.

After use, clear trapped hair from the upper and lower plates and between the teeth with a soft cloth or brush. Apply the recommended blade lubricant lightly. Keeping the blade clean, oiled and stored in a dry place is part of maintaining it for regular grooming work.
