The Aesculap GT360D #5F is a detachable animal grooming blade set with a nominal cutting length of 6.3 mm and a cutting width of 40 mm. It fits the SnapOn blade system used by Aesculap clippers including the FAV5 and Durati Pro. This gives groomers a defined 6.3 mm option that can be exchanged as the clipping task changes.

German manufacture, carbon steel cutting components and accurately ground teeth form the basis of this blade set. Its diamond-like carbon coating is designed to resist wear, lower friction and help the cutting edge remain serviceable longer. The treated surface also helps protect against corrosion.

Blade changes use the clipper's detachable head connection. Seat the replacement on the hinge and follow the machine instructions to engage it fully. Aesculap recommends oiling before clipping; continued cleaning and lubrication remain part of routine care for a coated blade.

Brush away hair between the teeth and wipe both cutting plates before applying a small amount of GT604 blade lubricant. After cleaning, check for blunt or damaged cutting edges. Allow a hot blade to cool before handling it, and have sharpening carried out through a suitable professional service.
