The Laube Lazor CX Size 5 is a skip-tooth clipper blade for grooming with a nominal 1/4-inch cutting length. Laube marks this size at 6.4 mm. The alternating long and short teeth identify the skip-tooth design, so the plain Size 5 designation matters when matching a replacement to an existing blade.

This blade provides a longer cut than the Size 7 within the same CX range and uses a standard snap-on attachment. Select it for a handpiece designed to accept that detachable-blade system. The blade can then be exchanged for another compatible size as the grooming task changes. Laube's #305 Speed Feed and trimmers are excluded.

Clean and lubricate the blade according to the care product's instructions. Laube explains that blade dip can displace water and protect against rust, with excess fluid wiped away before clipping.
